Meet the Team

We’re a not-for-profit service funded by Lancashire’s local councils and run by Green Rose CIC, a community organisation with deep roots in energy support work. Our team understands the challenges people face and the confusion around energy upgrades—we’re here to make it easier, clearer and fairer for everyone.

Tamsin Coxhill

Tamsin Coxhill

Advice Manager

Tamsin leads on low carbon advice at Greener Homes and is often the voice you’ll hear when you call our freephone number. She provides clear, friendly and personalised guidance to help residents and landlords understand retrofit options, navigate funding schemes, and make their homes greener and more efficient.

With qualifications in Retrofit Advice, Energy Awareness, and a BA(Hons) in Architecture, Tamsin brings both technical know-how and practical experience. She has worked closely with residents in fuel poverty for many years and is known as the techy one of the team—helping drive innovation in how we deliver support.

A mum of three teenagers, Tamsin also runs her local baby sling library and enjoys photography, dressmaking and walking in the beautiful Lancashire countryside.

Dave leads on home surveys at Greener Homes and is likely to be your surveyor if you book a survey or an EPC and live north of the Ribble. He provides in-person and written advice to homeowners and landlords looking to invest in making their homes greener by improving energy and comfort while reducing bills and carbon emissions.

Dave is a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor, Retrofit Assessor, and Retrofit Coordinator, and also holds competencies in Heat Loss Assessment and Domestic Ventilation Systems.

Ashlea Hughes

Ashlea Hughes

Home Energy & Retrofit Advisor

Ashlea is often the friendly voice at the end of our freephone line, helping people make their homes warmer, greener, and more affordable to run. As a Retrofit Advisor she provides personalised advice to residents and landlords on energy-saving improvements and how to access funding schemes, always aiming to make the process simple and stress-free.

Before joining Greener Homes in Lancashire, Ashlea worked with Relic Plastic, a community project that transformed plastic “waste” into something beautiful, while also running workshops in schools and communities to inspire people to think differently about recycling and sustainability. That community-focused approach is at the heart of her work now, helping residents through one-to-one calls, engaging with people at local events, and making energy advice accessible through the Greener Homes blog. Away from the phone lines and events, you’ll most likely find Ashlea outdoors or making music.
