Lancashire Residents, We Need Your Help!
Participate In a Research Study
We would like to invite you to apply to participate in an exciting new research project being run by Eyesea Green and the NetZero Group, in partnership with the University of Cambridge. This study is designed to explore how homes perform in real life and how we can use smart technology to make them healthier, more comfortable, and cheaper to run.
What’s involved?
If you choose to take part:
- We install two small, discreet monitors in your home (hallway and main living space) for a minimum of 12 months.
- These will collect data like room temperature, humidity, and air quality — no personal data is collected.
- You won’t need to do anything once they’re in — just plug them in and forget about them!
- You’ll get access to a personal dashboard to view your home’s performance.
- You’ll receive a £100 supermarket voucher as a thank-you for participating.

The project is completely voluntary and designed with privacy in mind. Installation is quick, professional, and causes no damage to your home.
Why join?
By taking part, you’ll:
- Support important academic research with Cambridge University.
- Help develop new tools to tackle damp, mould, and energy inefficiency.
- Learn more about how your home performs and where improvements might help.
